This collection includes photographs and programs from Flythe’s time at Rex Hospital School of Nursing, Rex Hospital, and Wake Medical Center.
Estelle (Benson) Flythe was botn 5 June 1926 in Johnston County to Edgar A. and Mary (Coats) Benson. She graduated from the Rex School of Nursing in 1949 and worked at Rex Hospital for 22 years and at Wake Medical Center until she retired in 1995. She died 20 October 2012.
