  • Biographical / Historical Note
     

    Carolyn Grace Warren was born in North Carolina in 1940. She attended Park View Hospital Training School for Nurses in Rocky Mount, North Carolina from 1958 to 1961 and graduated with a degree in surgical, medical, and obstetrical Nursing. On 1 August 1963, she became a certified Registered Nurse. After receiving her R.N. certification, Warren worked at Wake Med Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina for just over a year. She spent the bulk of her career (thirty-two years) as a nurse at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina, serving as a pediatrics nurse for twenty-four years, a head nurse for seven-to-eight years, and a patient relations nurse for 10 years. She then worked at Home Health in Wilson, North Carolina for ten years. Carolyn Grace Warren currently resides in Kenly, North Carolina.
