Material (1887, 1909-1969) related to the family of George E. and Nellie Maria Chambers Robinson of Montana, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Washington. Included are marriage and birth certificates, cemetery plot records, a divorce decree, photographs (also tintypes), a photograph album, and records and clippings concerning their son Harley G. Robinson who died in World War I.


Biographical/historical information

George E. Robinson and Nellie W. Chambers were married on February 13, 1887. They had two sons, Harley G. Rbonsin and Chester Robinson and a daughter Mabel Robinson. Harley Robinson was officially recorded as killed in action October 12, 1914 as a member of Company "L 308 U.S. Infantry. Mabel M. Robinson Married WIlmer Otis Tindall and had a son named George Earl Tindall.

This collection consists of photographs and documents of George E. and Nellie C. Robinson. Within this collection are photographs and documents created and/or compiled by the Robinson Family. The materials (1909-1969) generally relate to legal records, certificates, clippings, photographs, tinytypes, and a photograph album.
