Included are a copy of the Daniels-Murphrey Family History compiled and edited by Eleanor Daniels Casey in 1993, a photograph of the USS Nebraska that Benjamin Daniels of Wayne County, North Carolina, sailed to Europe on in WWI, and three photographs of Benjamin Daniels in his WWI US Navy uniform.


Biographical/historical information

Benjamin William Daniels was born on September 29, 1883 and died April 16, 1972. Benjamin married Mabel Adeline on December 24, 1919. Mabel Adeline was the daughter of Williams and Sallie Grant of the Caset's Chapel Community. The two had four children together, Benjamin William, Jr., Mabel Irene, James Norwood, and Eleanor Faye. Mabel died on October 14, 1951 and Benjamin remarried Hazel Howell on February 24, 1956.


Scope and arrangement

This collection contains two folders. The first folder include four photographs of Benjamin W. Daniels during his service in World War I. The second folder contains the history of the families Daniels-Murphrey. The genealogy report was compiled and edited by Eleanor Daniels Casey.
