Biographical/historical information

Adolf Hitler - Pictures of the Life of the F├╝hrer was published in 1936 by Cigaretten-Bilderdienst, a tobacco company in Altona-Bahrenfeld, Germany. The book had blank spaces for users to glue appropriate cigarette cards from collectable cigarette packs. As cards and albums became a new and popular form of the media in the early 1930s, the Nazi party developed this book to target youth and promote cigarettes, tobacco and the early Nazi regime.
