Winslow while a student at East Carolina Teachers Training School, Greenville, NC with her future husband, Robert Leslie Towe, an assistant cashier of the First National Bank of Roanoke Rapids, ca. 1915-1918. See preliminary inventory attached. Note: Papers were found in the home of Mrs. George (Sara Crawford) Wood; they were inherited by the donor, who is Mrs. Wood?s daughter, following her death in 2007; and they were received through the courtesy of the donor?s cousin, Dr. Dan Winslow and Mrs. Winslow, in Townsville, NC.
