| Abstract: | This collection contains photographs of descendants of Willie Brown (1799-1867) and Nancy Moye Brown of Greenville and Pitt County, North Carolina, especially through the line of their son Dr. William Moye Benjamin Brown (1823-1903) and his wife Jane Marie Greene. Also included are photographs of members of the Waldrop, Moore, Morrill/Morrell, Ernul, Cherry and Watts families related through the spouses of the children of Dr. William Moye Benjamin Brown and photographs (1920, undated but before 1908) of the James Brown home at 627 Dickinson Ave. in Greenville, N.C. Non-photographic material includes The Genealogy of the Lost Robert White Watts and his Descendants, by Lawrence A. Watts, Jr. (2006), relating to the Watts family of Lynchburg and Amherst County, Virginia and Greenville, North Carolina. |
