September 4, 2002 (unprocessed addition 1), 9 items, 0.003 cubic feet; Collection (1928-1941) including passport, postcard, and tickets, of Greenville, NC resident James Howard Moye at the time of his trip to France, 1928; his honorable discharge from Battery A, 113th Field Artillery, North Carolina National Guard, 1934; his commissions as Second Lieutenant. Field Artillery, National Guard of the U.S., 1937; his certificate of proficiency from Field Artillery School, Fort Sill, OK, 1941; his commission as a Captain, Field Artillery, in the Army of the U.S., 1941; also a photographic print of Arthur S. "Ott" Alford at his desk as principal of Fountain Elementary School, c. 1930s. Donor: Dannie B. Wooten.
