Morgan and transporting it to Greenville; presenting the portrait to the East Carolina University Alumni Association; also describing the portrait by Washington, DC artist Leonard A. Haft. Autograph typescript. 0.006 cubic feet. 1 item. 2 p. Note: Carroll Leggett received the letter when he served as administrator of the ECU Alumni Program; a copy remains in the Robert Morgan file in the ECU Office of Institutional Advancement. This is the only existing portrait for which the senator posed. It is on display in Joyner Library's Robert B. Morgan Room. A copy of teh letter will be forwarded to the University Archives and another placed on the back of the painting, itself.
