The collection consists primarily of land transactions (1785-1842) between the Sawyer and Lamb families in the Lamb's Mill Pond area of Camden County, N.C. A will for Isaac Lamb (1834) is also included in the papers. A covenant for the Geneva Church gives insight into the regulation of church discipline and the rules of decorum during conferences.
