Great Photo! Reverend Austin Flood served as pastor during the 1870s. He was not a founder of the church. He is also my 2g grandfather.

My great-grandmother Alvania Watson Johnson was one of the eight original founding members. Lived her life in what is now Greenville Town Commons area. Born a slave , although too young to work on the Fleming Plantation, that was located @ intersection of Greene Streets and Pactolus Hwy where the DOT bldg. sits angled across from Jolly's Pawn Shop
