We lived at 413 Bonners Lane. Across the street from Luke and Ollie Washington and Kelly and Rosa Darden. Next door was a daycare center! WOW great memories of neighbors who we considered as family!

This is a great memory. Mrs. Ollie Foreman was my grandmother who lived in the home next to the church. We lived with her--my mother, sister, and uncles. Mrs. Mary Payton who lived a few doors down was our cousin. I also remember the Darden family lived across from Mrs. Payton. There was a couple who lived on Atlantic Avenue named Ben and Evelyn Moore. They were close friends of my family. Behind these homes was an alley way. I have sung many songs in this church as a little girl. I don't recall the pastor's name or his wife, but they were always nice to the kids. We had Christmas plays, songs, and numerous social activities. We were family in this small block radius. Thank God for the pic that brought back so many memories.

My sister (Venetia) and I, along with Charles and Betty Taft sung a song at this church. We lived on Bonner's Lane with our grandmother Penetta Thorne.

The church was St. Andrews Episcopal and I went there also. My house is behind the trees on the left next to Mrs. Mary Paytons @ 418.

My grandfather when to that church.

Mrs. Ollie Foreman lived right beside the church, which was operated as a parish of the Episcopal church.

.....memories...... I grew up here as my grandparent's house is just out of sight, a mere two houses away @ 421 Bonner's Lane.
