- Description
- Flames destroyed over 800 acres of the 149,000 acre Croatan National Forest in eastern North Carolina Thursday afternoon. A North Carolina Forest Service spotter plane makes his way around the fire as the flames move over the dry timber. Flames caused the evacuation of a mobile home park and a youth camp.
