Abstract:

Ruth G. Shaw is the new president of Duke Power Company, the state's largest utility. After a number of years in the field of education, Shaw joined the utility in 1992 as vice president of corporate communications. In 2002, she was named company president. Shaw is featured in NORTH CAROLINA magazine's \"executive profile.\"
