Patricia Legrand, a chemistry teacher at CTCC Middle College High School in Guilford County, has received the 2001 Milken Educator Award worth $25,000. Given by the Milken Family Foundation, the award recognizes outstanding K-12 educators nationwide. Legrand is one of 120 nationwide winners for 2001.
