Abstract:

North Carolina's General Assembly has passed Bipartisan legislation signed by Governor Roy Cooper that will readjust the state's approach to reducing carbon pollution. It is a goal for North Carolina to become carbon neutral moving into 2050, "ditching dependency on fossil fuels, coal, oil, and gas."
