Biography of Judge John Lancaster Bailey (1795-1877), a native of Pasquotank Co., NC, was attorney for UNC Chapel Hill for many years, served in NC Legislature, established a law school in Hillsboro, NC and Black Mountain, NC, and became a Superior Court Judge.
