Abstract:

The Committee on Improving and Expediting the Administration of Justice in North Carolina presented a survey of the state's judicial system to the North Carolina Bar Association. In a program designed to improve North Carolina's courts in order to meet the changing needs of the state, amendments to the state constitution aim to unify the system, face issues with justice of the peace, jury selection, and the addition of courts and judges.
