Abstract:

David McKnight is an influential musician and former journalist also known as the Franklin Street Fiddler, the Mayor of Ninth Street, or Hillsborough Street’s Handel. McKnight was recently diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor, giving him little time to live. This week musicians gathered in Durham to pay tribute to McKnight.
