Abstract:

This article details how the Treasurer for the State of North Carolina plans to keep the pension plan for North Carolina state employees among the strongest in the country. The author details how the State Treasurer has helped to build the state pension plan into one of the strongest, and the author details how this has caused friction with state employee groups.
