Abstract:

John W. Anderson, an Asheville watercolor artist began his interest with art in childhood cartoon characters and later in architectural drafting. While Anderson was born in New York City and grew up in Philadelphia, Anderson and his wife, Ellen, an interior decorator, have spent 22 years in Florida and retired to Asheville in 2005.
