Greg Brannon, a Cary obstetrician, is one of five candidates running in the Republican primary to be the alternative to the establishment candidate, Thom Tillis. He is the choice of the Tea Party to run against the incumbent Senator Kay Hagen. In the words of the Tea Party, they \"don't want to replace Hagen with a progressive Republican like Thom Tillis. What difference would that make?\"
