Abstract:

This bulletin reviews legislation passed by the 1991 session of the NC General Assembly that is of interest to registers of deeds. The legislation is identified by the session law chapter number, with the original bill number given in parentheses. Unless otherwise indicated, the acts became effective when ratified and are therefore current laws. Among the bills enacted were excise tax and fees, liability insurance, map law, and a Notary Public Act.
