Liability for Blood Transfusions in North Carolina

Abstract:
Currently, North Carolina has no laws that deal specifically with an increasingly important area of medical practice and potential professional liability--the collection, storage, and distribution of human blood and the administration of blood transfusions. This article discusses the legal implications of the matter and some proposed solutions.
