Abstract:
It now almost three years since Congress passed the Housing Act of 1949 to restore activity in the construction of urban low rent public housing and extend public housing into rural areas. North Carolina city housing authorities have taken considerable advantage of the new legislation, but very little progress has been made in the field of rural non-farm housing.
