Abstract:

Greensboro College, which has continued to render a great service in the education of women, is marking its centennial in 1938. It is the third oldest chartered college for women in the country, following Mt. Holyoke by one year and Wesleyan of Georgia by two. It is also the first four-year college for women to be chartered by the Methodist Church.
