Abstract:

Susan Dahlin is following a family tradition; both her father and grandfather were painters. She went to college intending to study art, but after two years switched to broadcasting. She spent twenty years at WRAL-TV in Raleigh as a television host and executive producer, but after retiring has returned to her painting.
