Abstract:

Mrs. Evelyn Bayne Ward, of East Flat Rock, is 107 years old, and she is quite possibly the oldest living person in North Carolina. Mrs. Ward was born in 1845 and is one of eight children born to Alexander and Sarah Bayne.
