Abstract:
O. Henry, author of literary works such as, CABBAGES AND KINGS, THE FOUR MILLION, and THE HEART OF THE WEST, is buried in Asheville's Riverside Cemetery. The inscription on his tombstone lists the interred as William Sydney Porter 1862-1910, the name a mystery to those searching for the famous author under his pen-name. O. Henry was born in Greensboro.
