Abstract:
The article provides before and after pictures of the Tull's Creek Bridge in Currituck County. Built in the mid-19 century, the bridge was originally a manually-operated drawbridge. When boats needed to dock, someone was sent on shore to operate the hand crank to open and close the bridge for passage.
