Abstract:

Drexel Heritage Furnishings, Inc. was formed from a merger in 1956 of two outstanding furniture companies - Drexel, founded, in 1903 and Heritage, started in 1934. With nineteen plants and over five thousand workers, it is one of the largest companies in the industry.
