Abstract:

Seth Lumber Company opened for business in Lincolnton in 1915. A privately owned business, it used the name of one of its founders, Michael Seth Beam. The company incorporated under new ownership as Seth Lumber Company Inc. in 1945. This article describes the company's progress since then.
