Abstract:
The Joe Godfrey family business is copper enameling. The family started the home business in Hildebrand in 1949 in their basement as a hobby. Over time, the family work gained in fame and their products appeared all around the world. Copper enameling uses different glass shapes and copper to create a mosaic piece of art. The Godfrey enameling process fuses the copper to translucent pieces of glass to touch off the artistic aspects of the artwork.
