Abstract:

M. B. Toler, along with a group of experienced and enterprising young men, founded Southern Elevator in 1949. The company has its headquarters and plant in Greensboro with another office and warehouse in Charlotte. Southern Elevator is the only major manufacturer of commercial elevators in North and South Carolina and builds them to suit specific applications.
