Abstract:

At its Raleigh facility, ITT Telecommunication Transmission Products is engaged in research, development, and the manufacture of complex communications equipment and systems. The plant opened in 1959 and employs a workforce of over 550. The company was attracted to the Raleigh area because of the proximity of three major universities and the Research Triangle.
