Abstract:

Abstract:

The old hunting lodge at Lake Mattamuskeet was originally built as a pumping station to drain the lake in 1913. Vacant since 1974, the lodge is in need of repair and renovation.

Abstract:

Sixteen species of bats have been recorded in the state. Several are relatively rare and three--Townsend's big-eared bat, the Indiana bat, and the gray bat--are endangered.
