Abstract:
Sol Schechter is president of Hampton Shirt Company, headquartered in Kinston. The company manufactures and sells men's and boys' shirts and men's pajamas throughout the country. Hampton produces some eighteen million dozen pieces of apparel each year, or about 34,000 dozen per week.

Seven lawmakers hold what many regard as the most influential offices in the General Assembly. They are Representatives H. Horton Rountree, Edward S. Holmes, John R. Gamble, Jr., and Senators W. Craig Lawing, Kenneth C. Royall, Jr., Marshall A. Rauch, and Harold W. Hardison.

Abstract:
PCA International is North Carolina's fastest growing publicly owned corporation. Founded in Matthews in 1967, Photo Corporation of America, now PCA International, became the world's largest portrait photographer in its first decade. It has created over 4,000 jobs with an annual payroll exceeding $16 million. Sales volume reached $124 million in 1978.
