Abstract:
Carolina Enterprises, Inc., which came to Tarboro in Edgecombe County over a decade ago, is one of eastern North Carolina's largest manufacturing industries. Each year the huge plastics plant makes enough Santas, sleighs, reindeer, and other Christmas decorations to fill 2,300 freight cars and at least that many trucks. The company employs over 900 with an annual payroll of $6 million.
