Dr. R. B. Lawson, Physical Director and Associate Professor of Anatomy at the University of North Carolina, has had a very interesting career in athletics. In the thirty-five years he has been a member of the University faculty he has coached football, baseball, and gymnastics, and has served as trainer for the football team as well as teaching in the medical school. He also played football and baseball, and took part in track while attending the University, later playing semi-professional and professional baseball.
