Abstract:

A travel log through western North Carolina and into Tennessee, the author drives through the mountains and points out attractions along the way. The specific route drives through Blowing Rock to Newland and Elk Park, then into Tennessee to Roan Mountain, Hampton and Mountain City and back by Boone. Along the way, the author discovers the smaller, lesser known places, while documenting snippets of details through his journey.
