Recent decisions in the public school finance area are likely to increase litigation attacking the quality of educational opportunities available to public school students. The past several years have seen a flurry of health legislation in the United States. Among these laws, the Good Samaritan law has been one of the most topical. This article examines the Good Samaritan Law in North Carolina, and the need for better emergency medical services.
