Rittie Moore Trice (b. 1807 in NC, d. 1879). Stephen Eason moved to Carroll Co., TN in 1832. W. H. Eason md. in December 1877 to Beverly A. Allen (1857-1885).

On Sept. 1, 1762, Mark Harden and wife Elizabeth of Pitt County (Elizabeth being the widow of Richard Becton dec’d. of Beaufort Co., NC) sold land to Frederick Becton of Craven Co., NC (nephew of Richard Becton). Richard Becton made a Will dated Feb. 13, 1759. Richard Becton lived on land in Craven County (later Pitt County) given to him by his brother, John Becton, dec’d. of Craven Co., NC. [Editors note: the town of Bell-Arthur was developed on the old Becton farm]
