Abstract:

The North Carolina Century Farm program is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. About 2,000 farms have been recognized since its inception.More recently, more than several dozen farms have joined the Bicentennial Farm program. Indigo Farms in Calabash and Harrell Hill Farms near the North Carolina and Tennessee state border are featured.
