Wilson began bartending at Christy's Euro Pub in 2007. Two years later at age 26, she bought Christy's. She and her husband Jacob have since begun other businesses in downtown Greenville, including Dickinson Avenue Public House in 2015, Jarvis Street Bottle Shop in 2016 and in November 2021 Side Bar.

Owners Marvin and Lititia McKesson opened Coffee & Spice, a restaurant on 1025 W. Fifth St. in West Greenville in September 2021. The upscale eatery intends on becoming the community's gathering spot, The property was previously the home of Mamie Paige Hall, a long-time educator, remembered for her hospitality and providing her home to club functions.
