From this initiative, it provides more than college hangouts for those dining out. The town’s reputation is also changing, from one unable to offer graduates reasons to stay to one alumnus can call home.

Downtown Greenville can now be known as the site for another business named Globe. Located in a historic building, Globe Pharmacy reflects the town’s history by being named after the locally iconic Globe Hardware and maintaining the structure’s architectural integrity.

Blount envisions Greenville’s potential fulfilled by two initiatives, once started, the other not yet being realized. His vision contains the continued development of the downtown area of Dickinson Avenue. His vision includes Greenville transforming into a residential town, also containing types of residences appealing to professionals, fledgling or experienced.
