Abstract:

This bulletin is the first in a series of bulletins that will examine in-depth the best practices and points-of-failure associated with moving services online. It provides an introduction into the concept of e-government (e-gov) and elaborates on how various governments are employing the Internet and touches on some of the benefits and challenges of providing government service online.
