During the week, Tom Dooley heads his Charlotte-based construction company, R. T. Dooley, Inc. On the weekends he becomes Tom Dooley, a referee in the National Football League. Each season he referees twenty games.

Abstract:

Perley A. Thomas began Thomas Built Buses, Inc. in High Point in 1916 as a maker of streetcars. In 1936, the company began building buses and today is the world's largest school bus manufacturer. In a typical year the company produces and sells between 9,000 and 10,000 units. John W. Thomas, Jr., grandson of the founder, is company president.
