Celtic Ocean International Inc. is a runner-up in the 2008 BUSINESS NORTH CAROLINA Small Business of the Year competition. The company was founded in 1976, but in 2000, CEO Selina DeLangre moved it to Arden. Celtic Ocean employs a staff and projects revenue in 2008 of $5 million. It is a food distributor and products include salt from Portugal and Hawaii, herbs, almonds, olive oil, and beauty products.
