Abstract:
Bed and breakfast owners in towns like Edenton are concerned about the potential negative impacts of short term rentals. They believe these rental properties, not required to comply with hospitality industry regulations, can compromise the safety of their guests, communities, and neighborhoods as much as the tourist trade.
