Abstract:
The Madison County Arts Council will host the eleventh Annual Fiddlers of Madison County Show in downtown Marshall, North Carolina. The spring concert showcases master fiddlers, and pays tribute to the generations of Appalachian musicians and Madison County history.

Abstract:
Born in Madison County, Thomas Hunter is a master fiddler who preserves the traditional western Carolina fiddle tunes. Recognized by the Smithsonian Institution for his work, he has also received a 1989 N.C. Folk Heritage Award.
